Our Main camp in British Columbia Canada lies about 30 Kilometers north of the little village of Tatla Lake, right in the middle of the unique wilderness around the picturesque Smokey Lake. The Log cabins are furnitured in the typical and traditional Canadian style with one big kitchen for all our guests. We even have a shower in the main camp.
The hunt usually starts and ends at the main camp with all it's pleasant facilities like the shower, the nice and warm ovens, the kitchen and a warm bed. But it might be necessary to hunt from a spike camp. In that case you will put a bit of the equipment you will need for a couple of days in the bush into your backpack and hunt the game you are looking for from a so called spike camp, which are rather simple. Your Guide will take care of the tent and the food. You just have to bring the equipment like a good sleeping bag for instance. Good and peacefull sleep is important in order to be fit for the next days stalk.
Just as any hunt in the wilderness your hunting trip in the Perkins Peak Outfit requires excellent gear and equipment. Not matter whether we are talking about the right sleeping bag, the shoes, or the sort of clothing and bag pack that you will need, everything should be high quality.
